Zenvo’s quad-turbocharged V-12 Aurora hypercar is set to hit the road soon
After showcasing a near-production version last year in Monterey and testing final prototypes at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Danish automaker is already looking ahead to its next project—a smaller, more accessible hypercar with a V-10 engine.

Zenvo’s Next Hypercar Might Pack a Screaming V-10—And It’s Going All Gas, No Hybrid
Last year, Zenvo teased plans for a more accessible "junior hypercar" to sit below the wild Aurora. Now, we’ve got some juicy details: this new beast will reportedly rock a high-revving V-10—and unlike its hybrid-assisted big brother, it might ditch electrification altogether.
"We're already working on a V-10 version for our junior hypercar," Zenvo Chairman Jens Sverdrup told Top Gear.
The Aurora’s monstrous V-12 is modular, meaning it can be scaled down to six, eight, or ten cylinders. And while the V-10 won’t need hybrid power, Sverdrup admits that tightening emissions rules could force their hand.
"The engine was designed to be future-proof, so it can run naturally aspirated without a hybrid system," he said. "But hitting future emissions targets without electrification? That’s going to be tough."
Sharing the Aurora’s Bones
Zenvo’s Head of Design, Christian Brandt, confirmed the junior hypercar will share the Aurora’s carbon-fiber monocoque chassis. But before the V-10 arrives, the Danish automaker is laser-focused on delivering its flagship Aurora.
Limited to just 100 units (50 road-going Tur models and 50 track-hungry Agil variants), the Aurora is an absolute monster—with a top-spec output of 1,850 hp and a starting price of around $2.8 million.
Aurora’s Final Form Revealed
Zenvo just unveiled the production-ready Aurora Tur ahead of its debut at Goodwood. While it stays true to the 2023 concept, subtle tweaks include refined front-end aerodynamics and a cleaner rear deck.
Both the Tur and Agil pack a 6.6-liter quad-turbo V-12 pumping out 1,250 hp, boosted by hybrid tech. The Agil adds a single rear e-motor for 1,450 hp, while the all-wheel-drive Tur throws in two front motors for a mind-bending 1,850 hp.
Performance? Absolutely Bonkers:
Aurora Agil (RWD, track weapon)
0-62 mph: 2.5 sec
Top speed: 227 mph
Downforce: 1,940 lbs at 155 mph
Aurora Tur (AWD, road-devouring GT)
0-62 mph: 2.3 sec
Top speed: 280 mph
With production now underway in Denmark, Zenvo is staking its claim among hypercar royalty—and if the V-10 lives up to the hype, it could be their wildest ride yet.
Stay tuned. 🚀
