Rezvani’s Stunning Porsche Homage: The Retro-Inspired RR1 Starts at $195K (Plus Your 911)
If you’ve ever dreamed of a modern Porsche with classic race-car soul, Rezvani’s new RR1 might be your perfect match. Starting at $195,000 (plus the cost of your own 992-generation 911 donor car), this California-based boutique automaker—famous for its outrageous supercars and armored SUVs—is now turning its attention to retro-flavored restomods.
Old-School Looks, New-School Speed
Inspired by the legendary Porsche 935, the RR1 comes in two flavors:
RR1 600: A twin-turbo 3.0L flat-six pumping out 600 hp, hitting 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds
RR1 750: Based on the 911 Turbo S, this beast packs a 3.8L twin-turbo flat-six with 750 hp, launching to 60 in a mind-bending 2.0 seconds (thanks to AWD and a PDK gearbox)
Both models feature handcrafted carbon-fiber bodies, blending vintage curves with modern aggression.
Exclusive, Custom, and (Very) Pricey
Only 50 units will be built, each taking four months to complete. Factor in the cost of your donor 911 (likely around $135K+), and you’re looking at a starting investment of ~$330K before options.
Want to go all out? Rezvani offers upgrades like:
Brembo GT-S brakes ($12,500)
Center-lock wheels ($12,500)
Öhlins TTX-Pro coilovers ($8,500)
Custom racing liveries ($7,500)
Rezvani Retro: A New Direction
Known for wild builds like the Tank SUV and bulletproof Knight, Rezvani is now diving into the restomod game with Rezvani Retro. The first completed RR1—wrapped in the iconic Martini livery—proves they’re serious about merging classic style with cutting-edge performance.
For Porsche purists with deep pockets, the RR1 offers the best of both worlds: timeless design and hypercar-worthy speed. Now the only question is—600 hp or 750?
(Previewed earlier this year, the RR1 is now a reality. And who knows? Maybe Rezvani will add its signature bulletproofing option down the line…) 🚀
